Barossa Pho, a traditional Vietnamese restaurant situated in Angaston at the heart of the Barossa Valley, was established by our chef, Duc, with the aim of providing a hospitable dining experience that integrates locally sourced ingredients with authentic Vietnamese cuisine, drawing inspiration from time-honored family recipes.
Following his certification at TAFE Melbourne, Duc commenced his culinary career in Australia at Ferment Asia in 2017, where he served as a chef until 2022. Subsequently, he joined Lambert Estate, gaining valuable insight into the diverse and plentiful food culture of the Barossa.
Since relocating to Australia from Vietnam, Duc has aspired to open his own restaurant to share his vibrant culture. When the opportunity arose to establish Barossa Pho at 33 Murray St, Angaston, he embraced it. With the support of his housemate Rachael Duncan and his former team at Lambert's, his aspiration materialized, and Barossa Pho commenced operations in December 2023.
